Web Directories are special. When you submit to the different directories, you are paying for the labor to send your info to these directories. The directories will review it and choose whether or not to put on their site.
A directory lists websites according to categories. Look at http://www.dmoz.org/ for a sample of how these categories might be named. Find similar businesses to yours - that is where you should be. DO A SEARCH. Look at their business names/titles and the descriptions.
GUIDELINES for best results:
1) Do not use promotional language like "best" "most" etc. Use NON-subjective language - stick with the facts.
2) Try to integrate your keywords into your description.
3) Use http://www.dmoz.org/ as a model for how these things should be worded. Don't plajurize. Just get a feel.
The Majon form asks for 3 alternative titles. Try to come up with three different ones that describe your business - and possibly have one of the keywords you are promoting.
In the Majon form - put in the top 10 keywords for your website.
Majon offers different packages for directory submission. Do what you can. In general - having the directory submission spread out over time is more valuable than all done at once. Consider that in your purchases. Also - more directory links is better than less.
